Updated PLCC Cart

This time the cartridge is based off of an AMD chip, and also the MBC5 instead of the previous MBC1. I decided to put the plcc socket right where the rom was. The ram IC was swapped from a 64k to a 256K from a Zelda cart. It has the battery retainer from a BleepBloop cart so that the battery can be swapped out. The cartridge can be fully programmed (rom/ram) from a USB cartridge flasher, and the rom can be flashed from a PLCC programmer. I finished it off with a nice green power LED.

SGB CPU in a DMG

based off of another mod by Nex here is my sgb cpu swap into a dmg. It makes boot time much faster, but also makes the gameboy run slightly more reliably. For example, programs like Muddy GB and even lsdj run smoother.

Black and White LSDJ

So I had posted this on the forum a while ago, but my basic idea was to get rid of the shading in LSDJ to make it look more crisp. I will post more details later. In the upper picture is the standard, and the bottom is the black and white. Just changed the order of colors in a hex editor of the rom. I also edited myself a version with little fm and that black/white as well. in the program when you toggle from inv/regular it switches from black and white to shaded.

old design with a new spin. Always wanted to build one, finally did a while back. I also did a solid state version where I just soldered the atmel chip. anyway enjoy

Clock Control Gameboy

I just finished up this Gameboy for Travis, a client of mine. It features a green-backlit inverted screen, green-lit buttons, Prosound, and switchable normal/variable clock control.

Pocket/DMG conversion

In my quest to continue moving forward in the world of GB modding, I have just become the second-ever person to pin out a working Pocket screen to DMG conversion.
